Las Terrenas... for many, this name is still unknown. A charming beach town in the Samana peninsula of the Dominican Republic, Las Terrenas is one of the Dominican Republic’s best-kept secrets. But why choose Las Terrenas for your wedding day?

It is simply the perfect piece of paradise to celebrate the joining of your love with family and friends by your side. Romantic scenery, island breezes with a private ceremony on one of the most beautiful beaches of the Dominican Republic.

Arriving in Las Terrenas is not difficult. The closest airport is El Catey Samana Airport (AZS). If you arrive in the capital of Santo Domingo, the international airport is about a 2-hour drive to Las Terrenas. Punta Cana and Puerto Plata also have international flights and transportation into Las Terrenas.

Aside from the incredible beaches here, Las Terrenas has so much more to offer from savory cuisine to shops, to outdoor adventure. Once an old fisherman’s town, now a community of Dominicans, and European, Canadian and American ex-pats. You will find a variety of options for bars and restaurants to enjoy your time here, from local Dominican flavor to Italian pizzerias and French Boulangeries.
